Ro Sham Bo - Ro Sham Bollocks

Individually you know them as Jimmy Sing, Moriarty, Sleater Brockman and Spruce Lee but when the four elements combine they form Ro Sham Bo. Sleater Brockman battled Macy’s gift card spam on MySpace to get these questions through to us here at 3D in time for sounds in the ground. Respect.

So is it true that Ro Sham Bo is the name of a game that involves kicking someone in the balls-

According to South Park, yup! Although it also means Scissors, Paper, Rock in Mandarin.

Is Ro Sham Bo how you solve creative differences among the four of you-
Actually we combine both games, instead of kicking each other in the balls we throw rocks, paper and sometimes when shit is super furious, scissors.

So, out of the four of you, who is the leader of the outfit- Or who would like to think he is-
Moriarty is the tallest, so naturally that makes him the leader. Alternatively, whoever has the longest beard at the time… It’s pretty hard being the shortest dude with no ability to grow facial hair, I’ll tell ya that.

Your MySpace lists your style of music as ‘Healing and Easy Listening’ – seriously though, do you think that the tunes that Ro Sham Bo bust out have healing powers-

Absolutely. It’s how we recover after a pair of scissors to the groin.

How will you yourselves be getting into the uni spirit for Sounds In The Ground-
The four of us have enrolled in Advanced Psychology for the rest of the semester and spend most of the class designing beer bongs. We have also been watching Animal House on repeat. Except for Spruce, who has been watching High School Musical for some reason.

Have you guys played for the uni crowd before- Are they usually ready to party-
Yeah Uni crowd are always ridiculous. Last weekend I played a ‘Recovery Day’ party at the University of Canberra and that shit was like a frat party! There were boobs and schlongs all over the place and everyone was wasted before noon.
