Almost 30 people were arrested for drug infringements at Sydney's Homebake Music Festival over the weekend.

Sniffer dogs and a significant police presence were among the revellers at the event, with a spokesperson reportedly saying police had found a mixture of drugs, including MDMA, LSD, cocaine and cannabis.

While police were busy busting people with illicit substances, 20,000 punters braved the day to see The Divinyls, Missy Higgins, Operator Please, PNAU, Muscles and others perform throughout the day.

The annual event has become a mainstay for both rockers and ravers, ensuring a police presence for the drinkers and the drug-takers.
