Alan Braxe is a man that needs no introduction if you love your French touch. As one half of Stardust (along with Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter) he wrote the hit Music Sounds Better With You, which went on to become one of the biggest dance anthems of the ’90s. Teaming up with Fred Falke (a recent remixer of Ladyhawke) he produced a number of tracks, as well as reworking the likes of Kelis, Justice and Goldfrapp. His slow and twisted number Addicted was included on last year’s Kitsuné Maison Compilation 5. Now he’s coming to Australia to play a two-and-a-half hour set at French Kiss at Yu Saturday 1 November. More info at frenchkiss.net.au.
